Profile: Jörg Alfred Vogelsang has a Diploma in Chemistry and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. He joined Sika in Germany in 1992 where he started to work on testing organic coatings using electrochemical methods. Since 2002 he is in Sika’s headquarter in Zurich, Switzerland, where he is now responsible for Sika’s activities on Analytics & Testing globally. He is active in standardization in ISO and DIN, he currently serves as president of the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC) and as vice president of the German Corrosion Society (GfKORR).
